Campus Kjeller AS is a facilitator of commercialization and innovation processes at five major Norwegian Research Institutes – NGI, NILU, IFE, NORSAR and FFI as well as from the university colleges in the Kjeller region, including UMB. The business office - The Norwegian University of Life Sciences (UMB)
UMB, together with other independent research institutes on Campus Ås, make up for one of the largest Life Science environments in the Norway. UMB is a key player within focus areas such as: biotechnology, environmental technology and engineering. UMB Technology Transfer Office (TTO UMB) was established in 2003 and has since built experience and knowledge about translating and transferring research-based ideas and inventions into commercial results. The UMB TTO's commercialization activities are closely linked to university-industry collaborations, student entrepreneurship as well as IPR management. The UMB TTO is also a partner in the other Nordic projects, such as Marine Biotechnology and projects for fostering collaboration between Nordic universities and SMEs.

University of Copenhagen is Denmark's largest and most research-intensive university. KU is one of Europe's leading research institutes with internationally recognized Life Science research and is highly ranked in European and International comparison (cf. THE-QS & ARWU). In addition, the university has a well-functioning technology transfer organization and a track record of many successful partnerships with both private and public actors.
