Regulation of Benthic Diatom Flora in Swedish Streams and Lakes
The aim of the present project is to collect and broaden the knowledge about freshwater benthic diatoms in streams and lakes of Sweden. A better knowledge about the diatom communities of different water types and the environmental factors steering them will help to develop the bioindicator diatoms, and will also help to use diatoms in natural resource assessment.
