My main research topic is modelling energy and mass (mainly carbon, nitrogen and water) balances of crop production systems as function of weather and management.
I use about half my time for undergraduate and graduate education. Main teaching concerns water and heat dynamics in the soil plant atmosphere continuum, and using dynamic modelling to analyse and understand C, N, water and heat dynamics in this system.
