Lars Bergström

Research interests

- Transport and reactions of chemicals and nutrients in field soils

- Development of experimental techniques to estimate the surface water and groundwater pollution potential of pesticides and nutrients

- Evaluation of models to assess the impact chemical movement in soils

- Effects of soil and water management practices on water quality

Ongoing projects

- The subsoil – an important link in the understanding of P leaching for selection of mitigation strategies. Research project funded by the Swedish Farmer’s Foundation for Agricultural Research (SLF).

- Identifying critical areas and transport pathways for phosphorus. Research project funded by SLF.
