The goal of my PhD project is to investigate how deposited radiocaesium and radiostrontium is captured and transferred to the plant parts harvested in growing crops and how this is affected by the size and time of the deposition.

The project also includes that from the information gained make appropriate proposals of countermeasures for different scenarios in order to prevent further spread to food stuff.
