Research interests
Plants interact with each other by the release of chemicals. I am interested in the process of chemical communication between plants, and its effects on plants, herbivorous insects and their natural enemies. My studies focuses on how inter- and intraspecific interactions between plants affect aphids and their population development both in laboratory and field experiments. Another focus lays on physiological and morphological changes in plants that could result of plant-plant interactions.
I am working together with Velemir Ninkovic.
