Yves Surry – winner of PhDs’ appreciation prize
Professor Yves Surry won the Department’s internal “carrot bucket prize” for his contribution to our PhD students and their work during 2011.
The prize is awarded by the PhD students to a member of the Department of Economics that contributed the most for PhD students.
The nomination was as follows: Yves makes the department recognizable internationally by organizing many summer courses and being involved in international research cooperation. He is always there for PhD students, trying to help irrespective if they are from different research group.
