Om Luca Di Corato

Luca di Corato works as a researcher at the department since October 2008. He was awarded a PhD in Economics from the University of York (United Kingdom) and the University of Padua (Italy)

Research area

Luca’s main research topics are Environmental and Resource Economics, Energy Economics and Real Options. He has worked on contract design for the provision of environmental services, optimal forest management and bargaining over natural resource rents under the threat of expropriation. He has recently focused on investment in renewable energy sources and land allocation under uncertainty. He is also interested to applications of stochastic dynamic modelling to marital choices and behavioural anomalies.
