Om Chelsey Jo Huisman
Chelsey Jo is a part of the administrative personnel with the Economics department. She works primarily with the communication and educational administration, as well as supports and organizes various academic courses offered by the Economics department. Another part of Chelsey Jo’s work includes developing and cultivating partnerships, both inside and outside the university, to establish a working, interdisciplinary network that will contribute to mutual research goals and academic activity.

Chelsey Jo completed her BS in International Business and Entrepreneurship with the College of Saint Benedict and Saint John’s University in Minnesota. Thereafter, she continued her education with Uppsala University where she completed her MSSc in International Development Studies.
Chelsey Jo has been a research assistant in several areas of research: local food systems and networks, farm-gate profits from perennials, environmental impact of grass-fed beef, and bioenergy production and energy crops.
