Om Katarina Labajova
Katarina Labajova is a PhD-student at the department of Economics, specializing in studies of Business Administration.
Research area
Katarina is interested in behavioral and experimental economics. Her upcoming thesis is also going to be oriented on the efficiency of pork production in Sweden. She focused her previous work on market research, consumer preferences and positioning.
Teaching
Katarina is teaching Mathematic seminar for the undergraduate course “Applied economics in business” - “Tillämpad ekonomi i företag”. She also taught laboratory of Farm management and accounting at the University of Puerto Rico.

Katarina finished her master studies in Economics and Business Management in Slovak Republic and obtained a Master of Science degree in Agricultural Economics from the University of Puerto Rico. Prior to her PhD position at SLU she worked as a Quality Assurance Supervisor at the high care food and agricultural products company in Delaware, USA.
