Research interests

Currently, I am interested in the effects of species invasions on biodiversity and food web interactions.
Another interest is plant molecular biology, which was the subject of my MSc thesis.

Ongoing projects

I am investigating the effects of the invasive flagellate Gonyostomum semen on the biodiversity and food webs in humic lakes. An interesting question that I hope to answer is who eats Gonyostomum (if anyone does)? One of my tools to address this question is stable isotope analysis of different components of the food web.
