Tillage effects on soil carbon and nitrogen turnover and biological activity in soils with different texture
The objectives of this thesis work are to obtain a more mechanistic understanding of carbon and nitrogen turnover caused by soil disturbance and to examine the substrate mixture and water availability interactions that affect the biological activity in soils. Also, the aim is to implement this knowledge of the mechanisms into a carbon and nitrogen balance model.
