Since February 2009 I have been working with the coordination and organization of a 100% web based course at SOL (Ecology of Farming and Food Systems). This is an Agroasis shared course, which uses a farm in Denmark as case study.
Within the Agroecology in Practice Network project (AGROECOPRAC), I have been working since 2010 on the development of digital farm cases (e-cases) from Denmark, Sweden, Uganda and Ethiopia.
Since February 2009 I have been working on the coordination of the cooperation in Agroecology between SOL and the National Agricultural University (Universidad Nacional Agraria–UNA) in Nicaragua.
Since 2010, I am part of AGROASIS (Nordic network of Agroecology/Ecological Agriculture) as representative from SLU.

Areas of interests
My areas of interest for research are in agroecology, sustainability, systems ecology, emergy synthesis, ecological footprint and ecological indicators.
Teaching
I have been teaching in the web course of Ecology of Farming and Food Systems at SOL. I have also been teaching in the course of Agroecology Basics at the Master’s Programme in Agroecology in Alnarp. I also participated as a Linnaeus-Palme exchange teacher in the subject of Ecological Economics between SOL and the National Agricultural University (Universidad Nacional Agraria–UNA) in Nicaragua.
