Assistant Professor
My primary research interests invole the maintenance of biodiversity in managed forest systems and climate change ecology. Prior to 2008 most of my research was
conducted in Australia and South America.
In my current position I focus on the maintenance of biodiversity in the broadleaf forest systems of southern Sweden. I am also investigating how proposed intensive silvicultural strategies to increase production, and to adapt to climate change, are likely to impact on forest biodiversity.
Concurrently I conduct research with my partner Annika Felton on moose and primate nutritional ecology, and have a number of ongoing projects with colleagues in Australia.
