Eugene Ezebilo
Assistant Professor, Economics and Planning
My research has concentrated in the application of economics to resolve problems regarding sustainability in environmental and natural resource management. Presently, my work focuses on the design of a sustainable forest management strategy to reduce the conflict between hunting for game species (e.g. moose and deer) and forestry. I also explore the economic value of nature conservation and outdoor recreation as well as drivers of land use change.
My research interests include:
- Economic value of nature conservation
- Environmental policy
- Economics of sustainable use of natural resources
- Community-based natural resource management
- Economics of land use change; adaptation to climate change.
