Welcome to the Umeå Center for
Wireless Remote Animal Monitoring!
The Umeå Center for Wireless Remote Animal Monitoring (UC-WRAM) is a national competence center for automatic reception, long-time storage, sharing and analyzing of biotelemetry sensor data from animals. It is organized by SLU and financed by the Kempe Foundation, the Swedish Research Council, and SLU.
Together with partners in Scandinavia and Europe UC-WRAM is working to provide secure, long-term data storage for biotelemetry sensor data originating from animals. Our mission is to enable fish and wildlife researchers and managers to access and analyze similar biotelemetry sensor data from different database systems throughout Europe in a unified and efficient way in one single web portal.
