Research projects
My PhD project concerns the preference and performance of a serious insect-pest known as Egyptian cotton leafworm, Spodoptera littoralis, against herbivore induced chemical resistance in their host plants. To understand the mechanism of insect-plant communication I employ behavioural, chemical and electrophysiological studies.
