Uliana Gottlieb



Uliana Gottlieb is employed as a PhD student at the Department of Economics. Her PhD project focuses on management accounting and control in Swedish farm context. Applying both qualitative and quantitative research methods her research explores:

- management accounting drivers (including borrowing) and implications for financial costs.

- managerial financial literacy, how to masure it and how it relates to the use of management accounting and ultimately farm performance.

- the use of financial and non-financial tools and practices by dairy farmers, institutional influences on management accounting and how farmers meet and balance different demands of their professional, business and family contexts.

- interdisciplinary issues around accounting and accountability for farm animals, including the role of farm management indicators.
