The project is financed through the Swedish Government's special investments in food security.
Aim
Capacity development and internationalization of doctoral education at partner universities in Africa.
Project parts
1. Training for successful doctoral students. Course and workshops are jointly developed by Makerere University and SLU and participants comes from Makerere University, SLU and three African satellite universities.
2. Thematic subject courses connected to current research cooperation between SLU and African universities/research organizations.
3. Teacher exchanges with universities/research organizations connected to the SLU Global scientific themes.
4. Leadership and management with workshops and web platforms
