Seed funded projects
To strengthen Uppsala’s research network within reproductive biology, CRU has seed funded collaborative pilot studies. Proposals had to include collaboration between the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences and Uppsala University, and priority was given to prospective comprehensive projects of strategical importance to the reproductive biology field.
Three pilot studies were funded:
- Molecular mechanisms underlying ozonated carbamazepine toxicity in zebrafish (Danio rerio) embryos. Main applicant: Ehsan Pashay Ahi, Department of Organismal Biology, UU
- Establishing gene expression analyses in early embryos. Main applicant: Denise Laskowski, Department of Clinical Sciences, SLU
- Transcriptome analysis of the zebrafish embryo brain exposed to perfluorinated alkyl acid – Toward a better understanding of neurodevelopmental disorders. Main applicant: Carolina Vogs, Department of Biomedical Science and Veterinary Public Health, SLU
