No immediate need for special breeding for organic dairy cows

Published: 22 November 2010

Swedish dairy cow breeding is largely based on conventional dairy farming, but this does not seem to be a disadvantage for organic producers. On October 15, Therese Ahlman defended her thesis Organic Dairy Production - Herd Characteristics and genotype by environment interactions.
