Courses for PhD-students and postdocs

The SLU Breeding Network organizes or supports 1-2 courses per year for PhD students and postdocs and, if space permits, also for other SLU researchers. The courses are held online or they alternate between Umeå, Uppsala and Alnarp.

One-week course (morning’s theory; afternoon’s practical using mostly R platform for data analysis).

Plant growth analysis, nutrient use efficiency and phenotyping (6 HEC), online

Course information:

The course aims to give each participating student the competence to independently evaluate and apply current concepts and methodologies for the assessment of plant nutrient use efficiency in different agricultural and forestry contexts. The course is conducted in collaboration with the research school of Ecology.
