Interested in how the growth of plants in relation to their biotic and abiotic environment can be assessed?

Then this course should be of great interest to you. The course addresses the basic methods for measuring and assessing growth and physiology of plants in relation to the surrounding environment (plant-environment and plant-plant interaction), and provides an overview of automated methods to rapidly measure structural and functional plant properties (so called phenotyping) in modern plant phenotyping facilities.

  • The course will be given at the Dept. of Crop Production Ecology, SLU Uppsala.
  • This PhD course is offered as part of a Masters course, and the number of participating PhD students is limited to max. 5.
