Urban Transition and Transformation Research Network: Building/Extension

The project is twofold; to initiate a research network among SLU researchers interested in urban transition and transformation and to connect that SLU network to an already established international network, Sustainable Transition Research Network, STRN, and its thematic group on urban transition and transformation.

So far the project has conducted one seminar for SLU researchers and one workshop bringing together the SLU network and the STRN thematic group. Practitioners from four Swedish forerunner projects also participated in the workshop. 

The outcome of both the seminar and the workshop is now being synthesized and will be further discussed in a meeting with the SLU network in addition to formulating a long term strategy for how to continue to collaborate in the SLU network as well as together with the STRN thematic group.
