- 06 May 2022 New research funding for sustainable landscapes In order to safeguard biodiversity and multifunctional landscapes, the conventional governance and management associated with the ecosystem approach needs to be fundamentally changed. Reforms are needed, in both politics and in practice, for us to be able to achieve our environmental goals and have viable landscapes in the future. A new research program, LAND-PATHS, will develop new strategies for landscape and biodiversity governance.

This new knowledge will be essential not only for bird conservation in rural areas, but also for the design of large-scale biodiversity support funding from the EU.
- 09 November 2021 Kunming Declaration on Biodiversity The Kunming Declaration was adopted at the United Nations’ conference on biodiversity in Kunming, China, called the COP15, where more than 100 countries of the world pledged their intent to restore and protect the biodiversity of the world.
