Use older data for research?
Last changed: 20 April 2012
Are you a researcher and interested in using older data from the National Forest Inventory (1923-1952) and long time series in your own research? We provide old data, and harmonized analysis for the entire time series free of charge as part of research collaboration.
We are looking for researchers who are interested in forest and landscape history in a wide sense. We are interested in widening interest of researchers outside the forest / ecological circle.
Questions may concern:
- changes for all soil types with tree layer, forests, pastures, mire and so on
- individual counties / county parts or all of Sweden. For some case studies / issues, individual plots / lines also utilized
- the older material (1923-1929, 1938-1952)
- comparative studies concerning the entire period from 1923 until today
