Call for funding for educational initiatives 2026
The application period for funding to realise activities and initiatives within education has now ended. Applications are invited through the primary production initiative at the LTV Faculty in collaboration with Sparbanken Skåne. This call is open to staff employed at the LTV Faculty.
The SLU and Sparbanken Skåne Centre for Sustainable Primary Production shall work towards a robust food supply chain that promotes sustainable growth and development in Skåne over the long term.
Through excellent research and education, the centre shall collaborate with industry and public actors to develop, disseminate and utilise knowledge and new solutions for a transition that balances economic, environmental and social sustainability. The centre shall further contribute to building collaborations that harness competence and resources, ultimately leading to even better outcomes in primary production enterprises and within research, education and innovation.
Staff employed at the LTV Faculty have the opportunity to apply for funding to realise ideas and activities within education through the centre.
Applications must connect to one or more of the centre's overall target areas:
- Strengthening Skåne's contribution to the development of primary production in Sweden
- Increased knowledge and innovation for greater sustainability in primary production
- A higher level of technology within research, education and industry
- Increased collaboration in research and development
What can be applied for?
This call funds the development and implementation of education with the aim of offering competence development for professionals, or developing existing courses at bachelor or master level at the LTV Faculty (excluding postgraduate courses).
Educational activities aimed at competence development for professionals may also include education that does not lead to higher education credits (for example workshops or training modules for one or more target groups, or a combination thereof).
The call also welcomes initiatives that combine competence development for professionals and education for students in new ways — for example, through arrangements where professionals and SLU students follow a course or course component together, in full or in part.
Funding is allocated with up to SEK 200,000 per application, including overhead of up to 30%.
