Open campus Ultuna 2017

Come and visit us at Campus Ultuna on September 30th. We will have a tremendous party with market and activities for young and old, such as pony riding, freeze roses with fluid nitrogen, the possibility of dissect dinosaurs and plant onions. There will also be exhibitions, seminars and much more. Warm welcome!

Eat & Drink

If you're not up for chewing on a cricket or eat a worm, there will still be several places for you to have a meal during the day. Of course there will be local produced food from Swedish farms.

Market

SLU:s största campusområde Ultuna ligger strax söder om studentstaden Uppsala. Här finns universitetsledningen, två av fakulteterna och en stor del av universitetsadministrationen.

More activities

There will be a lot of activities for everyone on our open campus like horseback riding, experiments with fluid nitrogen, the possibility to dissect dinosaurs and plant onions.

Exhibition: Water is coming!

The exhibition Water is coming! raises the issue of the sea rising and how it affects our coasts. The exhibition also deals with the question how we handle these expected changes. What strategies are there and how do we communicate about the issue?

Exhibitions

Why not take a moment to visit one of our amazing exhibitions. Water is coming! about rising sea levels, the exhibition about SLU's history or maybe about SLU's new Baltic Sea cooperation project; Baltic Sea Science Center.

Workshops and seminars

During the open campus at Ultuna, you will be able to listen to lectures and participate in workshops that deal with some of the current social issues that SLU works with. How can we support the world's population? How can the forest help us to switch from fossil to renewable fleet?
