Workshops: Training for Successful Researchers with Responsibility for Doctoral Education

All interested senior staff is invited to submit their applications for participation in the workshops conducted at Makerere University in connection to the course package Global Food Security: Training for successful Doctoral Students.

When? Each workshop will be offered once during 2 – 20 June 2014 and once during August and September 2014. For specific dates please check the page for each workshop

Who can participate? Senior staff in the area of Global Food Security (all disciplinary fields) from the following universities:

Makerere University (Uganda),

SLU (Sweden),

National University of Rwanda (Rwanda),

Sokoine University (Tanzania)

Jomo Kenyatta University (Kenya).
Participants will be selected based on distribution between universities, engagement with issues of global food security and seeking a gender balance.
Costs? The project will provide financial support for travels, housing and allowance in one workshop. Help with organizing lodging, and meals during daytime, will be provided.
