Research Interests:

Sustainable protein sources in modern aquaculture, nutritional physiology and welfare 

Research Goal:

Alternative protein sources and improvement of microbial protein sources in diets to farmed fish

Research Skills:

Experimental design, feed formulation, surgical procedures on salmonid fish (cannulation), sampling and analytical methods in growth and welfare studies, stress studies on cold-water fish species, research unit design.


Lecturer at two courses ‘’Biology and Environmental Sciences’’ (BI0844) and ‘’Introduction to Animal Science’’ (LB0037) at SLU.

Teaching assistant on two courses (''Aquaculture nutrition'' and ''Aquaculture Production and Health'') at the Norwegian University of Life Sciences (NMBU/UMB), at Masters level.
