I work with issues regarding environment and climate change in Swedish development cooperation at Sida´s Helpdesk for Environment and Climate Change. The Helpdesk assist Sida to strenghten the environment and climate change perspectives in Swedish international development cooperation. More specific, we review and comment on projects and programmes, develop tools and methods for environmental integration, produce information materials and develop and perform courses and trainings in environment and climate integration.
My main areas of interest are: environmental mainstreaming, environmental assessments, method development, environmental management, gender and environment, ecosystems services & poverty alleviation, and environment and human rights.
I have worked at SLU as an expert advisor to Sida when it comes to environmental integration since 2001. Before rejoining SLU I worked as a programme officer at Sida focusing on natural resourses management issuse (based at Sida HQ in Stockholm as well as at the Swedish Embassy in Nairobi. I have a MSc in Agronomy from SLU.
