Frank Menger

I am a PhD working in the field of environmental chemistry. In my project 'LakePOPs' I develop novel screening approaches using liquid chromatography coupled to high resolution mass spectrometry (LC-HRMS) to identify organic contaminants of concern (e.g. halogenated compounds and pesticide transformation products) in surface water. Besides vendor software (UNIFI), I realize my ideas using the in-silico fragmentation software MetFrag and the statistical program R.
