I am a landscape architect and researcher within governance and management for socially inclusive, multifunctional and sustainable landscapes spanning from urban green spaces to rural forests.
I am one of the participants in the Interdisciplinary Academy at SLU 2022-2023, where I work within the theme Multifunctional landscape transformations – turning around the trade-offs. Interdisciplinary Academy (IDA)
In 2020-2022, I conducted a postdoctoral research project at the Centre for Environmental and Climate Science, Lund University. Within the interdisciplinary project, I studied the transition to more sustainable forestry in practice, seen from the perspective of private forest owners in Sweden. I focused on how they can balance between different values such as production, biodiversity, climate mitigation, climate adaptation and recreation when managing their forest.
In 2018, I completed my PhD in Landscape Planning especially Landscape Management at the Department of Landscape Architecture, Planning and Management, SLU. During my doctoral studies, I studied user participation in public green space management, especially in the transition zones between private residential properties and public urban green spaces. The research focus was users’ drivers for engaging in public urban green space management and how user participation in management affects public green space quality.
