Jenny Ekman
I work as a chemist in the service facility, The Biogeochemical Analyses Laboratory (BAL). My role is as project coordinator and my aim is to help internal and external researchers with chemical analysis and produce data. Together with my colleagues in the lab group we run analysis for stable isotopes. SLU Stable Isotope Laboratory (SSIL). We also assist in the chemical analysis of mainly water samples in the environmental monitoring program for example DOC, TN, DIN, Anions and Cations and thereto greenhouse gaseous samples.

Presentation

A newcomer in the field of forestry research, but I have a lot of experience from different other laboratories. For example I have learnt the accurate and strict analytical work in the pharmaceutical industry, used the pipette in the field laboratory placed on a ship accompanied by the waves and motion of sea and played a key role in processing workloads of several thousand samples daily in the atomized hospital laboratory.
