Since 2015 I have worked with the master-level course Rurality, Livelihood and Gender as the course amanuensis. I have also assitsed with the online course, Agroecology - working with the complexity of farming systems.
I have done a Systematic Map investigating how gender affects access to and use of forest assets for food security in low- and middle-income countries. Presently I am doing research on aquaculture, gender and rural entreprenurship in Sub Saharan Africa.
I have a BA in Environmental Studies from the University of California, Santa Cruz and a Msc from the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences in Rural Development and Natural Resource Management. I have an additional Msc from Blekinge Tekniska Hogskola in Strategic Leadership towards Sustainability.
