I have a BSc in geography from Uppsala university and an MSc in rural development and natural resource management from SLU. My master thesis was about land cover change and pastoralism in southern India where I did participatory mapping, remote sensing and interviews in order to develop and improve a methodology for studying changes in pastoral landscapes. Shortly after graduating in 2016 I started working as a research assistant at the division of rural development.
I have assisted in the courses "Rurality, livelihoods and gender" and "The Process of Research: Qualitative Methods, Data Analysis and Academic Writing", both part of the master program in rural development and natural resource management.
Besides assisting in courses I am also working within two different research projects together with Patrik Oskarsson (Coal Conflicts: The Continued Attraction of Coal for Energy Generation and Development in India ) and Andrea Nightingale (Conflict, Violence and Environmental Change).
