Anna-Lena Holgersson

Anna-Lena is the director of the hippology unit and the program study director of the hippologist program. In addition, she is a secretary in the VH Faculty Committee where she deals with questions regarding horses. She comes from the small community Floda outside Gothenburg. Anna-Lena studied to become a pet aggronomist and graduated in 1987. After graduating, she worked for a few years first as an administrator and then business manager at the Swedish Horse Riding Association (SH). She then completed a supplementary education in pedagogy at Uppsala University to become a high school teacher and got a job at Hästsportens Folkhögskola, in the "trotting and galloping school" department at Kvinnersta in Örebro and Jälla Naturbruksgymnasium in Uppsala. Since 1994, Anna-Lena has worked with everything within the hippology unit / program, she has worked as an administrator, teacher, program study director and director. Anna-Lenas hobbies include enjoying time in her farm together with the animals and her family. She is also active in horse-back riding and dance.
