Linda Andersson

Last changed: 22 April 2021

Linda Andersson is a well funded research student whose main focus is the bodyweight of dogs. As part of her project, Linda wants to look more closely at what factors are associated with a dog's bodyweight and the importance of weight in joint health. The main supervisor for the project is Katja Höglund. Read more about the project here.

After graduating from SLU in 2008 Linda first worked clinically with dogs and cats. However, in recent years Linda has worked as a veterinary expert at the Swedish Kennel Club, Department of Breeding and Health. Besides this, Linda thinks that the actual research work is genuinely inspiring and rewarding, and she hopes that the results of the project can be of benefit to the health of dogs. In her spare time, Linda enjoys puttering around in the garden at her family's house in the country.
