You can purchase both measuring boards and sample bags, that we use when sampling fish, directly from us. The measuring boards are made of plastic with millimeter lines. The sample bags are designed for biological samples such as otoliths and fish scales, and are made of special archival paper with pre-printed data. Contact us to make your order!
We store our biological samples, such as otoliths and fish scales, in bags of acid-free paper that do not degrade or affect the samples. The bags are 40 x 75 mm in size. We have bags with different prints for different species and purposes as well as bags without print.

The measuring boards that we use to measure the length of the fish are made of plastic and have markings for every millimeter and with numbers for every centimeter. The board has a stop at the zero line, which makes it easier to place the fish when measuring. Email your order to bjorn.ardestam@slu.se
