The project is a collaboration with four municipalities in the south of Sweden and offers a possibility for researchers and practicians to exchange knowledge and learn from each other. Within the project we investigate how we can plan for urban running tracks, with a special focus on accessibility. The point of departure is a public health perspective on urban planning where we seek a deeper understanding for how planning and design of the physical environment can affect the conditions for a good health. We aim to contribute with knowledge in how we can plan for an active city with an increased physical, social and mental well-being.
