Impact of machine automisation on working environment and productivity
Last changed: 23 April 2013
The project started in 2013 and finishes in 2014.
The aim of this project is to quantify the impact of modern automating technology on the work load of tractor drivers and the degree to which they allow producing agricultural products more efficiently. Over the last decades such technology has been developed to automize work operations and allow better control of the tractor and connected implements. Knowing the impact on work load and performance will allow improved and more user friendly vehicles and equipment.
The project is financed by the SLO fund.
Participating from the Department is Hans Arvidsson.
External partners are Oryx simulations AB and the department of of psychology at Umeå University.
