Do you want to work with wildlife management issues? Or are you already doing it, but want to develop your skills? Then this is the course for you!

The course is primarily aimed at those who work or will work with questions that concern game administration within, for example, county boards, the forestry board, forest companies, hunting and wildlife entrepreneurs.

In this course you will learn to understand the role and contributions of various actors in wildlife management, and how to construct a wildlife management plan in Sweden.

Own field management projects

The course mainly has a Northern European perspective focusing on Swedish conditions. Emphasis is placed on own field management projects.

The course is carried out in cooperation between SLU and the Swedish Association for Hunting and Wildlife Management. It is carried out partially on-line, and is conducted as a part-time course.

During the course, we will meet at 3 occasions, weekdays or weekends. Several of the meetings will be carried out at SLU in Umeå, Öster Malma Wildlife Management School in Sörmland and Grimsö research station in Bergslagen.
