As a student at SLU, you have the possibility to collect data for your thesis or study at a University in a developing country.

MFS - Minor Field Studies

Minor Field Studies, MFS, is a financed scholarship programme by SIDA. It gives you the possibility to collect data in a developing country for your thesis at Bachelor's or Master's level. You have to be abroad for at least eight weeks. The scholarship is 27 000 swedish crowns. Read more about the MFS programme at the student web.

The programme Linnaeus-Palme

Linneaus-Palme is an exchange programme for both teachers and students at the university. As a student, you study at a university in a developing country one or two semesters. Participating institutions at the programme will choose their own students for the scholarships. The programme is financed by SIDA.
