Grading Criteria for the Course Master Thesis of the Master's Programme; Rural Development and Natural Resource Management. EX0889.

  • Be able to grasp and apply scientific rigour that includes the ability to discover and formulate a well-motivated and original research question
  • Be able to design a scientific, well-formulated and original study, and to identify and apply well-designed methods in order to be able to critically discuss and answer the question in an analytical way within a specified time frame
  • Be able to formulate an advanced and well-motivated theoretical approach
  • Be able to write in a scientifically analytical, well-structured, and advanced form, and to orally present the results in such a form
  • Be able to use formerly acquired knowledge in order to critically, independently and scientifically analyse practices of rural development and natural resource management at an advanced level
