Välkommen
Varmt välkommen till kursen Företagsekonomi tillämpad inom den agrara näringen. Kort information kring kursen Kusen startar med upprop den 31 augusti, obligatorisk närvaro. Efter vad som nu gäller kommer kursen att genomföras ungefär som vanligt, dvs som i icke Corona-tider. Föreläsningar sker på Campus i en lokal som heter Terra Nova, en ganska stor lokal med 140 platser, dvs nästan tre gånger fler platser än maximalt antal närvarande kursdeltagare. Normalt ingår ett par studieresor i kursen, dessa kan i dagsläget inte genomföras. Kurslitteratur: den första tiden kommer föreläsningarna i huvudsak att grundas på kurskompendier, vilka du kan köpa på plats. Du behöver således inte införskaffa litteratur i förväg.

Requirements for entry to the Agricultural and Rural Management Bachelor´s Degree Programme.Objectives
By the end of the course students will have basic knowledge and understanding of, and be able to independently analyse and assess, general issues relating to the conditions for business.
On completion of the course, students will be able to:
Describe and evaluate different communication inputs from a business perspective,
Describe and explain the terminology within business economics and sections of social economics applicable to businesses,
Describe, explain and apply various aids within business administration and marketing,
Describe, explain and use laws, regulations etc. within external auditing and taxation.
Content
The course is mainly based on lectures and reading of the literature. Students will also carry out some exercises and study trips and participate in seminars.
The course is divided into four sections which are examined separately. These four sections are
business administration (terminology, cost theory, product accounting, linear programming, investment accounting, financing, overall planning), 4 hp,
marketing (introduction to marketing theory) with communication, 4 hp,
economics, 2 hp,
external auditing and taxation (auditing, taxation, accounts techniques), 5 hp.
Grading form
The grade requirements within the course grading system are set out in specific criteria. These criteria must be available by the course start at the latest.Formats and requirements for examination
Pass grade in written and/or oral examination and reporting of project and reference tasks, plus active participation in compulsory components.
- If a student has failed an examination, the examiner has the right to issue supplementary assignments. This applies if it is possible and there are grounds to do so.
- The examiner can provide an adapted assessment to students entitled to study support for students with disabilities following a decision by the university. Examiners may also issue an adapted examination or provide an alternative way for the students to take the exam.
- If this syllabus is withdrawn, SLU may introduce transitional provisions for examining students admitted based on this syllabus and who have not yet passed the course.
- For the examination of a degree project (independent project), the examiner may also allow the student to add supplemental information after the deadline for submission. Read more in the Education Planning and Administration Handbook.
Other information
The right to participate in teaching and/or supervision only applies for the course instance the student was admitted to and registered on.
