A student who successfully completes the course will have:
- fundamental knowledge and understanding of Swedish taxation law
- familiarity with the relevant legislation and case law with special emphasis on the taxation of companies
- ability to apply this knowledge and understanding to solve factual taxation problems faced by companies and other business entities.

Registrering sker via Ladok Student och vi tillämpar självregistrering. Registreringsperioden är öppen mellan 2021-03-01 -- 2021-03-16. Om det uppstår problem med registreringen dig på kursen, vänligen kontakta utbildningsadministrationen på ekon-adm@slu.se

Innan du kan få tillgång till kursmaterial skickar vi en registreringslista till Uppsala Universitet en vecka innan kursstart. Kom därför ihåg att registrera er i god tid för att få tillgång till deras studentportal och kursmaterial innan kursstart.

Du måste vara registrerade på kursen för att kunna skapa ett studentkonto hos Uppsala universitet och få tillgång till deras Ladok för anmälan till exempelvis tentamen. Studenter som läser kursen måste vara antagna och registrerade både hos SLU och Uppsala Universitet för att få gå på kursen. Student som saknar registrering får EJ vistas i lokalen, bl.a. av försäkringsskäl.

The equivalent of: 10 credits of courses in introductory law and 10 credits of courses in accounting. Or two years completed studies on the Forest Management - Bachelor´s Program.

Objectives

A student who successfully completes the course will have:
- fundamental knowledge and understanding of Swedish taxation law
- familiarity with the relevant legislation and case law with special emphasis on the taxation of companies
- ability to apply this knowledge and understanding to solve factual taxation problems faced by companies and other business entities.

Content

The primary focus of the course is the study of important legislation in the Swedish taxation law.
Company taxation is the course’s focal point. Brief attention is given to case law. Indirect taxation, social welfare levies, international tax law, assessment, collection and penalty regulations are covered generally.

Additional information

The course satisfies the requirements of professional accounting bodies. Teaching is conducted in the form of lectures where both theory and applied exercises are presented. Seminars address recent developments on the taxation front. The course is given by the Department of Commercial Law, Uppsala University.
