Frontiers in omics
The course includes separate lectures on the following topics by experts in the field and a student literature study project followed by oral presentations and discussion:
1- Genomics
2- Trascriptomics
3- Proteomics
4- Metabolomics
5- Bioinformatics
The course will be held for 7 days. Current state of the art in omics analysis will be highlighted through case studies and literature studies. The students after consulting with the course leader will choose a relevant topic for their literature study. The students will orally present the outcome of their literature study at the end of course. No laboratory experiments are included in the course.
