Dairy production is a powerful tool for rural poverty reduction. Animal diseases lead to reduced milk production worldwide, causing substantial economic losses and negative consequences for human and animal health.

This cross-disciplinary seminar will focus on global milk production with special emphasis on low-income countries.

The Committee for Global Animal Diseases (CGD) mission is to promote and enhance research and training activities on contagious diseases and antimicrobial resistance of global importance in food producing animals. For more information please visit the CGD website.
