Seminar: Research collaboration with low income countries

seminars, workshops |

Reaching the sustainable development goals requires research collaborations across borders, academic disciplines, research interests and cultures.

In this Crop Production Ecology Seminar we will hear examples of research collaborations with low-income countries and discuss the mutual benefits and potential pitfalls. The invited speakers are:

- Ingrid Öborn (Professor for Agricultural Cropping Systems and chair of the VR Research Committee for Development Research) and

- Bernard Vanlauwe (Director Central Africa hub & NRM Program, International Institute of Tropical Agriculture (IITA), Kenya).

In addition to the two talks, Assem Abouhatab (SLU Global) will present the support infrastructure offered by SLU Global as well as we are going to talk about potential funding opportunities.
