Webinar: Methods for sustainable animal production at the farm level

A picture of Jude Capper holding a presentation.

How do we implement sustainability at the farm level from crop to cow? Agriculture is facing major challenges in order to be able to produce sustainable food with less resources and with reduced greenhouse gas emissions.

How do we meet these challenges as well as consumers' increased hunger for information? And what tools and strategies can we use in social media to better communicate the positive aspects of animal production?

We welcome you to join us in a webinar with Dr. Jude L. Capper from Livestock Sustainability Consultancy. Jude will talk about how we can implement sustainable methods at the farm level in areas such as productivity, feed, animal health and welfare. She also will talk about the importance of social acceptance of agricultural methods when we strive for a more sustainable production.

Dr. Jude L. Capper is a researcher and independent consultant in sustainable animal production in the UK. The goal of her business is to communicate the factors that affect sustainability in animal production and increase knowledge and understanding of stakeholders in the entire food chain from farmers to retailers, decision makers and consumers.
